The Office of National Statistics has started gathering data on “wellbeing” by surveying residents. The responses were scaled from 0-10 where 0 is not at all and 10 is completely happy.
The results are now in, and it’s official, with a score of 7.67 out of 10, West Berkshire is officially one of the happiest places in the UK to live.
Here at Ressance, we’ve always known that West Berkshire is a great place to live, work and play. From the picturesque Kennet and Avon Canal to the world-class racecourse, there is something for everyone, including fantastic shopping, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs, a nature reserve, extensive playing fields, a seven-screen cinema and two theatres. Much of the surrounding countryside is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers stunning walks with breathtaking views.
“Wellbeing lies at the heart of every Ressance new build home. From the design of your Ressance new build home to the customer service you’ll receive we ensure you’ll feel at home.”
Wellbeing levels have plateaued over the past year, despite the Country getting wealthier in the same time period. However, West Berkshire seems to be bucking that trend, and from our point of view long may that continue.
